Design Your Dream Shed with Our 3D Shed Builder Today

Not sure how to use this tool? Here’s a quick guide.

Step 1. Pick a Shed

This step is simple, especially if you know what type of building you want. Click on the picture of the type you’re considering. Options include:

  • Utility sheds;
  • Barns;
  • Garages; and
  • Cabins

Step 2. Choose a Size

First, select the width of your shed. Depending on the shed you chose in step one, you can select a width anywhere between 8′ and 14′.  It is important to note, though, that zoning codes or other regulations in some areas do not allow for a 14′ wide shed. Talk to a Cumberland Shed dealer in your area about whether or not this applies to you.

Then select the length. Depending on the style you chose in the first step, this could be anywhere from 12′ to 40′.

Step 3. Decide on Materials and Colors

In this step, you’ll select the materials used on the outside of your shed and what colors you want them to be. Choose between standard metal, custom metal or shingles for the roof, then the color you want your roof to be. Select paint or stain for the siding, and a color (if you selected paint). If you decide on paint for the siding, you’ll also need to decide on a paint color for the trim. Otherwise, move on to the next step.

Step 4. Play with all the Options

Click on the Edit Options button to play around with the configuration and see what additions can be made. Click on Add Options to add a second door, and a floor plan will come up so you can place that second door wherever you like. Or move the entry door to a different location if you don’t like where it is on the plans. Click on the arrow buttons to flip the floor plan around.

Step 5. Save It and Order It

Once you are satisfied with the design, save it. If this is your first time on the site, you will need to set up an account, but that won’t take long. After that, place your order and get your backyard ready for installation.
